Introduction
This master's degree, of an inter-university nature, aims to provide fundamental, theoretical and applied training for access to a doctorate or for the exercise of the profession of chemist in laboratories, production systems and private and institutional R+D+i systems that require knowledge of Organic Chemistry.
The Master in Organic Chemistry is an interuniversity degree, taught jointly with the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Complutense University of Madrid.
The objective of the master's degree is to provide fundamental, theoretical and applied training for access to a doctorate or for the exercise of the profession of chemistry in laboratories, production systems and private and institutional R&D&I systems that require mastery of the Organic Chemistry.
Curriculum
Termination conditions:
- Compulsory: 18 credits
- Electives: 12 credits
- Master's final project: 30 credits
- Total: 60 credits
Students must take all the subjects in module 1. From module 2 they must choose 24 optional credits from the existing offer and, finally, the master's thesis.
In the specialization module, the student will be able to choose the subjects according to their preferences and will be able to select a specific orientation that will lead them to delve deeper into the area that interests them.
The Interuniversity Coordination Commission for the Master's Degree will establish the prior training complements to be taken by applicants, once their basic and specific training in Organic Chemistry has been accredited.
