Introduction
The purpose of this master's degree is to train professionals who can promote the implementation of actions that favor gender equality, the so-called gender perspective, in all social, political, economic and labor spheres, in accordance with the regulations.
One of the specific purposes of this academic-teaching project consists of training professionals who can promote the institutionalization of unique school subjects on the problem of gender relations at the different levels of Primary and Secondary Education, as well as at other levels. intervention, evaluation and social, political, administrative, labor, educational and socio-educational care, a fundamental issue to achieve, in effect, greater equality between the genders, as well as the transformation of the androcentric structures still existing in current societies in which that all socially and politically relevant issues -the issue of truly egalitarian gender relations between women and men is- have a very high degree of institutionalization and explicit organization. From an epistemological-critical angle, it should be noted that one of the specific purposes of this academic-teaching project consists of training professionals who can promote the implementation of actions that favor gender equality, that is, of the so-called "perspectives of gender", that is, a feminist, women's and gender perspective, in the social, political, economic and labor spheres.
In particular, the institutionalization of singular educational and training themes on the problem of equality and gender relations at the different levels of education and human formation in a broad sense is pursued, a fundamental issue in order to achieve, in effect, greater equality. between the genders, as well as a transformation of the androcentric structures that still exist, in current societies in which all social and politically relevant issues -the theme of truly equal gender relations between women and men- have a very high degree of institutionalization and explicit organization.

It has 90 credits distributed in 14 subjects.

It is structured in 14 subjects with a duration of one and a half years. Each subject taught in the first year of the master's degree consists of 5 ECTS credits, all of which are mandatory.
This master's degree (90 ECTS) will be taught in 2 academic years, that is: in three semesters, of which the first two will cover the first year of the master's degree in which the theoretical subjects will be taught (60 ECTS), and in In the second academic year (one semester), internships will be given and the TFM will be prepared and defended.
In the second year, students must opt for one of the master's specialties:
- Educative intervention
- Research and program design.
The study regime is full-time, and the modality in which it is taught is face-to-face. The teaching languages are Galician and Spanish.
Program Outcome
This professional work refers both to the educational context itself and to the Administration, companies and all social, cultural, economic and political institutions and organizations.
Another purpose consists of the training of researchers who can contribute to the construction of new knowledge about the relationships and social roles between women and men from a multidisciplinary feminist and gender perspective.
The academic and professional training offered has as an overall objective the preparation of university students who can carry out all the necessary actions as equality agents and researchers provided for in the current international, state and regional legislation in this regard.
