Introduction
The inter-university master's degree includes internships in companies, specializes in language, literature and culture of English-speaking countries, in the relationship between English and new information technologies, and in cultural mediation to facilitate communication in areas such as educational, legal and administrative.
This master's degree aims to provide specialization in the language, literature and culture of English-speaking countries, as well as in the relationship between English and new information technologies, through disciplines such as psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, or gender studies among others. It also contains subjects whose objective is cultural mediation, aimed at facilitating communication between fields such as education, law or administration.
The degree, due to the contents that are taught, reinforces and broadens the training for access to the public service.
The practical component of the Master provides a first experience in the labor field in this field.
Curriculum
The master's degree includes two specialties:
- Specialty in English Language and Linguistics
- Specialty in Literatures and Cultures of the Anglophone Field To obtain the degree, the student must necessarily take one of the two specialties.
To do this, you must pass the 21 credits that comprise the specialty module in which you have enrolled. The modules are made up of 3-credit subjects. Each of them involves 14 hours of class and 7 hours of online courses.
In the first semester, the mandatory modules will be carried out, which offer the student the opportunity to specialize and delve into content in both linguistics and literature and culture in the English language.
In the second semester, the optional modules provide the possibility of opting for studies and itineraries of a linguistic or literary-cultural nature.
Classes are taught at each of the three participating universities, so that the place and time that best suits the needs and interests of the students can be chosen.
The schedule is in the afternoon compatible with other academic or professional activities.

- Provide the student with specialization in language, literature and culture of English-speaking countries, as well as in the relationship between English and new information technologies, and with disciplines such as psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, or gender studies among others. It also contains subjects with cultural mediation objectives, aimed at facilitating communication in areas such as education, legal or administrative.
- Provide the knowledge necessary to access any Doctoral program in the fields of English Studies, linguistics and literature and culture.
- Provide, through the practical component of the Master, a first experience in the workplace.
