Introduction
In recent years there has been a growing interest in Integrated Project Management by professionals and social agents who carry out their business activity in our environment. The Integrated Project Management values the profession of the Project Manager who is in charge of promoting and directing the project from a global perspective, carrying out the processes of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing the entire project. . Thus, the Project Manager has to know how to lead, program and drive the operation towards the defined time, cost and quality objectives.
In 2003, this need for training was already detected, implanting an own degree at the University of A Coruña in Integrated Management of Projects and Construction. Subsequently, in the 2008-2009 academic year, after the signing of a collaboration agreement between the University of A Coruña (UDC) and the University of Vigo (UVIGO), the Official Interuniversity Master's Degree in Integrated Project Management (DIP) was launched. ) of the University of A Coruña and the University of Vigo of 60 ECTS (one academic year) whose objective is to train professionals capable of advising entities in the management and direction of projects, valuing the figure of the Project Manager (first Interuniversity Master of Galician University System, which also has a consolidated trajectory).
Currently, it has 3 specialties: Building and Territorial Development, Information Systems, and Leisure and Sports. In any case, it is a transversal training in which any graduate has a place and is applicable to any business/professional sector.
Enrollment can be done either in the face-to-face mode or in the distance mode that allows full monitoring of the Master online.
Its training contents cover the areas of knowledge recognized by the main international organizations that are leaders in this field: the Project Management Institute (PMI), the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), among others.
Ideal Students
The Official Master in Integrated Project Management is aimed at professionals linked to the field of construction and territorial development in general, information systems and new technologies; as well as those from leisure and sports who want to acquire management training linked to their university degree, highlighting the figure of the Project Manager.
It can also be taken by university graduates and graduates in general, given its transversal training nature.

- Understand the fundamental role that the Manager plays as a catalyst within the operation development process, in relation to the agents involved and his team of collaborators.
- Become aware of the importance of a good level of competence in the field of management skills, communication, professionalism and ethics (code of ethical conduct), to know how to motivate the team of collaborators towards achieving good results.
- Know the principles of modern philosophies and styles of direction and management of projects and organizations.

- Ability to position itself balanced against the time, cost and quality objectives of the operation.
- Know the analysis techniques, such as product life cycle analysis, total cost analysis, etc., that are used to find adequate positioning and a balance between the various specifications and objectives.
Strategic vision and reaction capacity
- Ability to identify and define the aspects that must be considered in the execution plan of the operations to be carried out.
- Know the techniques to define the execution plan and monitor it, contrasting progress with the established objectives.
- Know how to take the strategic direction of the operation.
Awareness and ability to establish a framework of action and bases for the coordination of all the agents involved in the operation
- Understand the importance of creating an adequate framework of relationships for the development of the operation and ensuring that all participating agents understand it and get involved in it.
- Being able to implement a clear process of establishing the client's wishes, the objectives of the operation, the needs of the end users and the characteristics of the necessary equipment.
- Define the elements of basic information that each of those involved needs to clearly understand the role they must play and how they must relate and interact with others.

The objective of the Postgraduate, Master with Specialties, is to train professionals capable of advising companies and promoters on various projects and operations, to then manage the projects and direct and coordinate the agents, from their conception to the delivery of the product or service to the customer. user, meeting the client's demands, so that the operation is completed on time, in accordance with the authorized costs and respecting the established quality levels.
Within this postgraduate program we will find the highest specialization applied to Design, Management and Project Control.
