Master in Primary School Education and Mathematics and Natural Sciences in 2nd Cycle

This Master course is intended to give professional qualification for teaching in accordance with Decree-Law79/2014, providing a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to:

1. qualify professionally for the generalist teacher performance in Childhood Education and in the 1st cycle of basic education;
2. provide the development of training profile adequate to the exercise of this professional activity, based on research and critical analysis competences, intervention and lifelong learning.

These objectives take into consideration the framework of Decree-Law n º 79/2014 of 14 may, the professionalprofiles described in Decree-Law No. 240/2001 and No. 241/2001), and the competences listed under the Dublindescriptors (knowledge and understanding, applied knowledge, critical analysis and evaluation, communication,autonomy and partnership in learning).
