Master in Languages and Business Relations
The Master's in Languages and Business Relations offers a second cycle university degree to first-cycle degree holders who want to develop their competences in languages, management and marketing, and ICTs. Providing grounding in the knowledge and skills necessary to identify problems and define strategies for an adequate and sustainable response to them, this degree Program aims to meet a varied range of needs: it can furnish complementary training for new graduates, offer a path to professional development and to the renewal of the competences of medium/long term graduates, and/or afford the necessary scientific training to those pursuing investigation and development.

Program Outcome
Objectives:
- To enhance the knowledge and skills acquired during prior training, preparing future master's graduates for positions in companies/organisations;
- To develop competences in Portuguese and in foreign languages, with a view to enabling plurilingual communication in institutions and the world of business;
- To provide training in management and marketing (at the level of theoretical grounding and practical implementation), as well as in information and communication technologies, ensuring the application of languages in these scientific areas;
- To develop an integrated view of the various competences acquired and use it to pursue research;
- To develop knowledge and expertise which supports problem-solving and encourages creative and entrepreneurial attitudes;
- To enable future master's graduates to proceed to 3rd cycle studies.
