Introduction
The Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering, at the Master's level, with an area of concentration in Construction Engineering, corresponds to the result of the Evolution Process of the Department of Civil Engineering at UNICAP. The course in question intends to assist professionals in Civil Engineering, Architecture, as well as other areas that have some relationship with Civil Engineering, as long as they present research projects related to the lines that the Program offers, encouraging the development of research in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Program Objectives
Meet a repressed demand for Master's courses in Civil Engineering in the North and Northeast regions, especially in the area of Construction Engineering;
meet regional demand for the development of new technologies from governmental institutions, development agencies, and private companies that demand from professionals a more acute critical spirit, as well as more creative and innovative capacity;
prepare teachers for Higher Education and teaching in the areas of Civil Engineering and Architecture;
deepen the training of Civil Engineers, Architects, and related professionals, making them capable of producing scientific and technological knowledge and developing new techniques and processes.
