Introduction
The Master in Integral Logistics seeks to expand and develop knowledge for solving problems in the area of integral logistics, providing the student with the conceptualizations, methodologies, and tools that enable them as a researcher in their training area.
An analysis of the business activity of Cartagena and the region shows the potential for professional development of future teachers in Integral Logistics, when proposals for the integration of the public and private sectors are evidenced, to promote and develop areas of logistics activity. Cartagena and the region have an important industrial park that has required a logistics infrastructure for the development of its processes. Important clusters have developed in its industrial zones, such as geographic concentrations of interrelated companies and institutions that act in productive activity (Petrochemical and Plastic, Food, Manufacturing, Services, Transport, Fishing and Cultivation, Chemical, Metalworking, Construction, and Tourism) such as supply chain integration models,
Cartagena and the region have one of the busiest port systems in Colombia where there are important public terminals such as the Cartagena Regional Port Society, Barranquilla Regional Port Society, Santa Marta Regional Port Society, CONTECAR, among others. Its high level of logistics and industrial activity, with a marked projection of sustained growth, will require professionals in advanced training to help study the problems of integrated logistics and propose solutions in a scientific and structured way, with a commitment to sustainability and responsibility. Social.
Because the nature of everyday problems requires multi and interdisciplinary skills and knowledge, the Technological University of Bolívar proposes a master's program that integrates the knowledge and knowledge of various disciplines (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Finance and International Business) and the research experiences of its research groups: GIPC Productivity and Quality Research Group, GRITAS Research Group on Applied Technologies and Information Systems and the iDe Development Studies Institute, which have made contributions important to local and regional development.
