Master in Tourism Development and Management

The Master's main objectives are:

• Promote an analysis and a critical view of the complexity of the tourism development problem from an interdisciplinary perspective,

• Promote and consolidate a high degree of specialization and innovation in the development and management of tourism oriented towards local development and contribute to improving the skills to direct and manage the development of tourist destinations,

• Promote a high degree of specialization in the development and management of tourism enterprises and contribute to improving the skills for their direction and management;

• Contribute to training for the development of instruments and techniques for tourism development and management,

• Provide extensive training in the interpretation and critical analysis of the processes of socio-cultural changes and their relationship with new tourism development strategies that contribute to improving the quality of life,

• Contribute to the dissemination and exchange of experiences based on the analysis of cases on local tourism development initiatives and their particular characteristics,

• Promote contributions to the construction of knowledge on the development of tourism to promote applied research that strengthens knowledge with guidance in the areas of Destination Development and Tourism Entrepreneurship.
