The University Master’s Degree in Criminal Investigation and Forensic Sciences is designed to offer specialized training in the investigation of complex crime and the use and application of the main forensic techniques employed in said investigations.
An important part of the specialized training that the Master’s provides involves hands-on experiences and training, both in labs (in courses such as “Forensic criminalistics”) and on field trips, and the participation of officers from the National Police as well as professionals from a variety of fields essential to crime investigation and Forensic Science. Professors and Research groups responsible for the Masters are among the most published and acknowledged experts, both nationally and internationally, in the area of Forensic Science.
