Introduction
Why take the Master in Renewable Energy at CEU?
- Possibility of obtaining a master's degree + triple degree You will obtain a Diploma in Sustainable Certifications (included) and a Specialist in Facilities Management (optional), both from the Universidad CEU San Pablo . You will be able to take an exam with AESCAI for its title of Higher Indoor Environmental Quality Technician (optional with additional cost)
- Oriented to European Regulations and sustainable certifications LEED, BREEAM, WELL, PASSIVEHOUSE and VERDE and certification in social environment and GRESB governance strategies. The master prepares you to face the new package of measures published by the European Commission on climate, energy, land use, transport and taxation
- Laboratory experience and simulation toolsYou will acquire practical knowledge of installations and renewable energies through the simulated application in the CEU laboratory. You will use the Lider-Calener (HULC), CE3X, SIMAPRO and CYPE software; in addition to the Design Builder energy simulator and the ANSYS CFD air movement simulator.

- Module 1: Energy Efficiency (12 ECTS): Energy Efficiency and Qualification / Bioclimatic Architecture and Sustainability / Efficient Thermal Installations / Ventilation Installations and Air Quality.
- Module 2: Water and Waste Management (11 ECTS): Hydraulics / Comprehensive Water Management in Buildings / Life Cycle Analysis and Waste Management.
- Module 3: Environment and Renewable Energies (6 ECTS): Renewable Energies/Environmental and Energy Engineering.
- Module 4: Transversal (13 ECTS): Efficiency in Lighting Systems / Electrical and Telecommunications Installations / Acoustics in Facilities / Fire Protection Facilities
- Module 5: External Practices (6 ECTS)
- Module 6: Master's Thesis (8 ECTS)
- Optional Module: Facilities Project Management (6 ECTS): Economic Evaluation of Facilities Projects / Practical Cases of Energy Savings in Facilities.
