Curriculum
The teaching methodology used to carry out the course is entirely in e-learning and includes the teachers' lessons, metadated and indexed, with the related teaching materials downloadable online. The student follows the lessons when he wants - 24 hours a day - however he wants - PC, tablet, smartphone - in the chosen mode - video/audio video, audio-streaming/MP3 downloading.
To support the teaching activity represented by the video lessons, web seminars will be held, activities carried out in synchronous mode, which include various types:
- thematic webinar, in which in-depth analyzes dedicated to some topics of particular interest and current affairs will be proposed, in order to make teaching more dynamic, also promoting interactive spaces for discussion between teachers and students;
- discussion webinars, which will focus on theoretical topics taken from the program, on which course participants will be invited to propose their own point of view based on the experiences gained within their respective organizations, in order to promote learning dynamics proactive, capable of revealing the main implications and application potential of the theories studied.
To fully exploit the opportunities connected to interactive online teaching, the following tools will also be used:
- wiki, to build together with the students hypertextual "trees" of shared knowledge, where the theoretical contributions can be integrated with empirical contributions proposed by all the course participants, who will thus be able to mutually enrich their learning paths;
- forum, in which the teacher (but also the students themselves) can launch provocations for debate on specific or more general topics covered within the course, but also on initiatives aimed at encouraging critical and interactive learning, as in the case of discussion of case studies or a problematic rereading of current events connected to the theoretical topics of the course;
- chat, can be opened at any time at the discretion of the teacher, the tutor or at the request of the students.
Teaching takes into account the need to develop not only knowledge, but also to use professional tools and behaviors, with the following characteristics:
- field project activities aimed at verifying the ability to apply methodologies and techniques in real situations;
- testimonials and case studies.
To integrate the aforementioned training activities, some non-mandatory in-person meetings may be established to offer participants a space to share and discuss with teachers and other students. Intermediate tests are planned aimed at evaluating learning on the topics covered, which may consist of the preparation of a written essay, as well as the completion of questionnaires.
Project work, final exam and title
Each participant is required to carry out a project work. Project work (study, experimentation, research) is a complex and structured activity that includes the design and implementation of a case study aimed at applying the knowledge acquired on concrete cases. The duration of the project work, which provides for the attribution of 22 credits, can be approximately estimated at 550 hours by the student, considering his overall commitment, i.e. research, study, interaction with the teacher and tutor, drafting and final discussion.
The choice of topic must be made, with reference to the master's modules, in accordance with the methods defined by the Master's Director. Following the positive evaluation of the final project (architectural project) by the Master's Commission, the University will issue the first level University Master's diploma in "Design and communication of spaces for fashion and the fashion realm" with the attribution of 60 university training credits.
Monitoring
UnitelmaSapienza will use customer satisfaction models to monitor the teaching process, and to this end has prepared multiple choice questionnaires which will be administered to students, and which the University will use to evaluate the degree of perceived satisfaction and be able to introduce any improvements in the training process . The questionnaire collects, anonymously, data on the progress of the course useful for measuring the correspondence of the objectives achieved with the expectations of the participants, verifying the degree of satisfaction obtained, probing the validity of the training initiative and giving any ideas for additions/ improvements.
