About
Tokyo University of Information Sciences was founded in Chiba in April 1988 (Showa 63) to develop human resources with professional skills and liberal arts which meet the needs of society. The founder, Tokyo NODAI Educational Corporation, is now an educational corporation with eight educational institutes, including our university and Tokyo University of Agriculture which celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2016. It started in 1891 (Meiji 24) with the Tokugawa Ikuei-kai Foundation founded by Viscount Enomoto Takeaki. Our university has inherited his spirit, aiming to develop human resources which meet the needs of society from a comprehensive perspective.
Introduction
