Introduction

The Master of Science in Real Estate Development will prepare you to assume a leadership role within this increasingly complex, cross-disciplinary industry. Learn to address economic, social, and ecological issues when developing commercial, industrial, institutional or residential projects for the 21st century. Environmentally sensitive new development, coupled with rehabilitation and redevelopment of historic buildings and neighborhoods, are crucial to invigorating communities and shaping healthy places to live, work and play. Gain the skills needed to respond creatively to the long-term effects and dynamic demands of the real estate development industry.

The program is designed as a 37-credit, 12-course curriculum that can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis in 1.5 to 2.5 years depending on the course load taken by the student.
