Introduction
Our new MSc Strategic Business Management with Professional Practice course is a 2-year full-time business master’s programme. Sharing the first year of study with the 1-year MSc Strategic Business Management, the 2-year programme benefits from a second year of Professional Practice that is specifically aimed at fostering employment opportunities for students.
Offering greater flexibility than a traditional Placement Year, our Professional Practice Year allows you to decide how to put your skills into practice. Choose between an academic dissertation, business plan, business or consultancy project, or a paid placement in the industry, depending on the option that is best suited to your future career path.
With a strong focus on your future employability, our accredited business Master’s in Strategic Business Management will give you a broad understanding of operations and how each business area impacts and influences another. You will gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the key aspects of strategic business and management in a global context. Whether you’re a manager, consultant, analyst, or entrepreneur, you will graduate ready to launch, or fast-track your career, to the next level. Students will build an excellent grounding in the key aspects of business and management faced by businesses today. Designed with input from successful business professionals, and covering a range of different modules, we will ensure you have the best foundation for your professional career. This programme is accredited with the professionally-recognised Chartered Management Institute qualification so upon successful completion you will have the option to apply for a CMI Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership as well as your degree. This course is also offered as an ‘Accredited Degree’ by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CiM) meaning students will be able to gain industry-recognised qualifications at an accelerated pace.
We offer this course with Pre-sessional English for students who need to improve their English language level to meet the language entry requirements.

- 2:2 or above from a UK bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualifications.
- International students additionally require an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
