Introduction

The Master of Architecture (MArch) is a two-year UGC-funded full-time programme offered by the Department of Architecture. The 2-year MArch is offered to applicants who hold a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies degree at this University; or another equivalent qualification from another university or comparable institution accepted for this purpose.

  • Validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)
  • Recognized by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA)
  • Recognized by the New Zealand Registered Architects Board (NZRAB)
  • Recognized via the Canberra Accord as having substantial equivalency with the accreditation or validation systems in architectural education of:
    • Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB)
    • China National Board of Architectural Accreditation (NBAA)
    • Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA)
    • Chinese Taipei Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan (IEET)
    • Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (JABEE)
    • Korea Architectural Accrediting Board (KAAB)
    • Mexico Acreditadora Nacional de Programas de Arquitectura y Disciplinas del Espacio Habitable (ANPADEH)
    • South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
