Introduction
Master's Degree Program (M.Mus) specializing and focusing on the main subject (instrument).
Along with the formulation of the personal artistic statement (as a direct continuation of undergraduate studies at the academy), this master's track is also designed to develop artistic initiative, with the aim of influencing the formation of cultural-educational-artistic leadership. This track can also be used as a step towards doctoral studies.
Curriculum
The curriculum allows students who specialize, each in their field, to research and deepen their knowledge of the cultural tradition, as well as constantly updated on trends and areas that are renewed in the various music styles in Israel and around the world.
Program
- A recital at the end of each academic year (two recitals)
- Obligatory participation in JAMD Mendi Rodan Symphony Orchestra – for Strings, Woodwinds, Brass & Percussion majors.
Credit needed for completion of the study program:
- Major Instrument: 1 weekly hour in two years – 8 credits
- Seminar: Elements of Artistic Music Performance I,II : 2 weekly hours in two years – 8 credits
- Electives: 10 weekly hours in two years – 20 credits
