A multidisciplinary approach
The MSc in Engineering at Telecom Paris offers a multidisciplinary and comprehensive training program covering the entire digital spectrum. Our training is based on scientific excellence in mathematics, physics and computer science. But it goes much further, offering a global approach to digital engineering that includes science and technology, economics, sociology, law and the environment.
Telecom Paris' unique education is immersed in research and in constant contact with its economic and technological partners. It fosters innovation, entrepreneurship and international skills through a truly hands-on approach.
A 2 to 3 year program
International students from non-partner universities can follow either a 24-month Master of Science in Engineering program (2nd and 3rd years of the curriculum) or a 36-month full MSc in Engineering program. The 24-month engineering program at Telecom Paris is taught in either English or French, depending on the specialization chosen. The first year of our 36-month program is taught in French.
A highly customized program
During the first year, students take mandatory core science courses as well as electives in languages, business and social sciences, soft skills, and humanities.
In the 2nd year, students can choose 2 tracks from 14 disciplines, 6 of which are taught entirely in English.
The 3rd year includes
-A one-semester focus on a specialization or the option to apply to one of our selective master's programs at Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) or one of our partner universities. In the latter case, you will receive a degree from both Telecom Paris and either IP Paris or the partner university.
-A 6-month paid internship in a company or laboratory in France.

General requirements
- You are currently in your final year of an undergraduate degree in science or holding a bachelor's degree in science, or enrolled in the first year of a master's degree in science or engineering.
- An excellent background in Mathematics and/or Physics are keys to success.
Language requirements
- A minimum B1 acquired level in French and/or English depending on the study track you would like to choose. A B2 level in French and English is strongly advised.
- French or English-speaking higher education degree or certificate from your university stating that you have followed/follow a program taught in English or French
- French language qualification test:
- DELF B1 : 75 points minimum
- or TCF: 400 points; TEF: 400 points; TFI: 600 points

In the latter option, you will graduate both from Télécom Paris and either IP Paris or the partner university.
The final year also includes a 6-month paid internship within a company or laboratory in France.
