Introduction

Are you looking to excel in a sporting industry that boasts global career opportunities?

The sports industry is a rapidly growing business and needs people with well-rounded skill sets who can apply their knowledge of sports to the business side of the industry. Providing a grounding in key management principles and how to apply them in the context of the sporting world, the MSc Management (Sport) at Swansea equips you with vital skills and knowledge essential for the next generation of sports organization leaders.

Our program focuses on the management of sports, including key duties of sports organizations to employees and stakeholders as well as regulations concerning critical issues such as safeguarding, inclusion, anti-doping, and event manipulation. You will also critically evaluate core ethical and integrity issues in sports and how to practice good governance, nationally and internationally, from a theoretically informed and practice-relevant standpoint.

Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management.
