The MSc Management (Sustainable Business) program at Swansea University is designed for students who are interested in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Environmental Management, and Climate Change and will allow students going into general management roles to target sustainable or ethical companies as well as demonstrate how their knowledge will benefit a firm in focusing on these areas.
You will explore Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethics as well as Sustainability and Environmental Management. In addition, you will learn about management in an interconnected global community as well as core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management, and marketing management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles.
Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. Upon successful completion of the relevant mapped modules within the MSc Management, you will qualify for CMI’s Level Seven Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.

How You're Taught
We are proud to provide an outstanding educational experience, using the most effective learning and teaching approaches, carefully tailored to suit the specific needs of your course. Our courses consist of in-person, on-campus teaching, enabling full engagement with your lecturers and fellow students.
Practical skills sessions, seminars, and workshops predominantly take place in person, allowing for group work and presentations. However, our approach also includes the use of some online learning to support and enhance traditional face-to-face teaching.
Online learning may take place ‘live’ using software such as Zoom, allowing you to interact with the lecturer and peers and to ask questions. Lecture recordings also allow for more flexibility to revisit material, revise for assessments, and enhance learning outside of the classroom. Some modules have extra resources in our virtual learning environment (Canvas), such as videos, slides, and quizzes enabling further flexible study.
