Introduction
Increased trade and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), travel, the internet, and cultural exchange have all given organizations increasing opportunities to expand internationally, take advantage of new opportunities, and meet the growing global demand for goods and services.
The MSc International Business program has been designed specifically to address the processes required for organizations to meet the challenges and issues presented by international business particularly those posed for strategy, enterprise, innovation, marketing, leadership, and finance, but also corporate governance and ethics.
The program also offers vital ‘in business’ opportunities, via the on-campus small business clinic, to undertake projects with real-world organizations as part of the International Business Consulting module. This provides direct access to industry, to advise on everyday issues, and to build experience and an associated international business skills base.

- All modules are taught by our world-class faculty who have industrial and academic knowledge
- Based in the £22 million School of Management building on the Bay Campus
- Business & Management Studies is ranked 78th in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024

How You're Taught
We are proud to provide an outstanding educational experience, using the most effective learning and teaching approaches, carefully tailored to suit the specific needs of your course. Our courses consist of in-person, on-campus teaching, enabling full engagement with your lecturers and fellow students.
Practical skills sessions, seminars, and workshops predominantly take place in person, allowing for group work and presentations. However, our approach also includes the use of some online learning to support and enhance traditional face-to-face teaching.
Online learning may take place ‘live’ using software such as Zoom, allowing you to interact with the lecturer and peers and to ask questions. Lecture recordings also allow for more flexibility to revisit material, to revise for assessments and to enhance learning outside of the classroom. Some modules have extra resources in our virtual learning environment (Canvas), such as videos, slides, and quizzes enabling further flexible study.
