The growing world population, climate change and the intensive use of water in industry, agriculture and the energy sector make sustainable water management an existential task - and are the subject of this course.
We will teach you the central points of water technology: fresh water production, treatment of household and industrial waste water and water as an emission-free energy source. We not only focus on technologies that are established in water-rich countries, but also work on topics such as seawater desalination, hygiene solutions for developing countries and avoiding conflicts over water.
