Introduction
Building in the context of history and identity as well as social change present architects with new challenges. Immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of Europe and shape the future of architecture.
The first semester includes the modules Architectural Theory, Building Construction I + II and Urban Analysis and Representation. Together we focus on a reflective attitude towards architecture and the city: We develop architectural ideas, concepts and theories and implement them in architectural design. In the second semester we deal with an existing object in the steps of analysis, design and building construction in the existing building. We work in the university and in the building itself. Various compulsory electives round off the semester before you start writing your thesis.
With the master's degree in Architecture - Design for the Built Environment you are well prepared for a more global and international world. In addition to the English language, you are well versed in dealing with people from other cultures and can use this potential together. You can contribute directly to national and international architectural offices by dealing with important social challenges such as dealing with existing architecture and urban structures or the humane and climate-friendly city of the future.
