Introduction
The first edition of the University Master in Event and Exhibition Design was organized in collaboration with Fondazione Fiera Milano.
The blending of two worlds: space design and exhibition and event organization. The university master’s degree is an interdisciplinary course aimed at training new professional figures who combine the design approach with management, marketing, and communication skills.
Attendance is compulsory for the awarding of the title.

The Master's training model is based on constant interaction with professionals in the field.
The project envisages different teaching methods:
- frontal teaching
- design workshops
- conferences
- guided tours of companies, fairs, and events
- orientation path.
There is an introductory module and five teaching modules:

Teaching
Teaching is centered on theoretical/cultural subjects and on workshop activities that always imply the active and creative participation of the class.
This didactic formula finds its best expression in the organization of project workshops that take place in collaboration with important companies, studios, and agencies in the events, fairs, and exhibitions sector.
Program Outcome
Today the new consumer needs, the evolution of the trade fair and event system, and the new digital technologies require professionals capable of developing increasingly innovative solutions.
The Master’s training model is based on the constant interaction with professionals in each field. Teaching is centered around theoretical and cultural themes combined with workshop activities in collaboration with important companies, firms, and design agencies operating in the events, trade fairs, and exhibitions sector to promote the students’ creative participation.
Career Opportunities
Internship
Upon completion of the classes, students will begin an internship lasting about 300 hours at companies or professional firms in the industry. Participants transfer their acquired skills to a professional setting.
Professional Output
MEED trains a new professional figure, the Event and Exhibition Designer.
