Master of Education Sciences

The presented Master Program is a methodology of teaching a subject/subjects group to prepare highly qualified specialists in teaching methodology (History, Mathematics, Georgian Language and Literature, English Language). Based on the standards adopted in the modern educational space, it is necessary to prepare the teaching methodology specialists whose qualifications will be based on the newest teaching methods, new national curriculum, accreditation standards of higher education institution programs. Accordingly, Master Program in Education Sciences (teaching methodology of a subject/subjects group) and is constructed based on the academic higher education qualifications framework of Georgia, Dublin descriptors (qualifications structure for the European Higher Education Area), the national curriculum, as well as on program accreditation standards.

A graduate has the relevant professional knowledge and skills in teaching methodology. He/she should understand the process of methodical innovations in the educational space and make effective decisions and realization. Knowledge of the subject/subject group teaching methodology will be based on knowledge obtained in subjects.

Master of Education (Teacher of Subject) has the right to work: On the primary and secondary level of secondary school based on the module (as a teacher of History and Civil Education, teacher of Mathematics and Informatics; teacher of Georgian Language and literature; teacher of Foreign Languages (English); As a teacher of the subject (subject group) in vocational institutions; In the sector of the Ministry of Education and Science; In NGO sector engaged in education issues; Ability to continue research in doctoral studies.
