For those who do not wish to pursue further graduate studies but are looking to deepen their knowledge of Catholic theology either for their own personal development or in preparation for teaching others, the program offers a general track option consisting of coursework that provides a substantial and comprehensive overview of the Catholic faith.

A fifth concentration, Jewish-Christian Studies, is available by taking courses in the Department of Religion's M.A. in Jewish-Christian Studies program.
All M.A. students can take their courses at both the main campus and extension sites, except when courses are reserved for a specific cohort group.
