Introduction

The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MACJ) is an interdisciplinary program that offers a comprehensive, rigorous, analytic study of crime and societal responses. Our focus is on applying theory and research methods in the development of initiatives, policies, and practice. Besides, we emphasise criminal justice ethics, issues of diversity in criminal justice, critical thinking, and leadership. Our students go on to successful careers in all sectors of the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, courts, corrections, social service, policy, and research.
