Master's specialization in Sports and Health
Over the last few decades, it has become increasingly clear that regular physical activity independently contributes to the strengthening of general well-being as well as the prevention of a number of diseases and premature death. At the same time, sport is an important focus area in relation to learning in children, young people and adults.
There is therefore a need for university graduates who have extensive knowledge of both interdisciplinary and monodisciplinary issues and results within Sports and health's central and adjacent disciplines.
Taken together, this makes Sports and Health a socially relevant education. Working with complex fields such as movement, sports and health requires expanded abilities to work across disciplines and professional traditions. You learn this at the master's program in Sports and Health.
The education is closely linked to our strong research environments and it is structured so that you get a broad, interdisciplinary insight into how you can work with sports and health in, for example, political, cultural and educational contexts.
At the same time, you have the opportunity to specialize through a number of elective modules. Here you can dive into topics that are particularly relevant to what you want to deal with.
