Introduction
The proposal for the Specialization in Social Innovation and Project Management is made up of a series of arguments based on the social and economic needs of the national and international environment.
At the international level, training trends in the area of social innovation have been marked by the permanent search for alternative solutions to problems identified in the social field. As important milestones that have marked the training trends in the area, the following stand out: in 2000, with the creation of the first academic research center at Stanford University, the business trend of corporate social innovation was promoted; Subsequently, in 2009, it was created as an academic research center on social innovation in Spain at the University of Barcelona, whose current has been focused on the experimentation of social innovation among the business fabric and corporate executives. Likewise, in 2008 the Basque Government created Innobasque, which became the first public agency for social innovation interested in generating socio-economic transformations, added value, employment and well-being through social innovation.
