Master of Science (MSEd) in English Education

Students typically—though not exclusively—seek a Master’s Degree in English Education in order to enhance their practice as secondary English teachers and/or to enter the Ph.D. pipeline in order to expand future career pathways. Though a Master’s degree from any institution might serve the purpose of boosting salaries for teachers working in districts that (still) provide incentives for advanced degrees, a degree from Purdue conveys a level of integrity and rigor that both students and employers find meaningful and valuable.
