Introduction
The Master in Informatics aims to deepen knowledge and skills in the areas of programming and systems, with an emphasis on systems development.
It is a master's degree driven by the trend towards the digitization of the economy and society and the consequent need to reinforce the so-called new digital skills, focusing on technologies that support the development of the so-called Industry 4.0, namely in terms of Mobile Computing, the Internet of Things, of Data Analysis and Machine Learning.
It intends to be a specialization, not only for people with higher education in computing but also in other areas of engineering, who will thus be able to acquire the necessary skills to be actors in the ongoing digital transformation

Program Outcome
Upon completion of the master's course, the graduate will be prepared to work in various types of organizations (public or private), individually or in groups, that need specialized technicians in the areas of Software Engineering and Computer Science with a professional profile capable of :
- Analyze, design, plan, and develop mobile or IoT systems, applications, and services;
- Specify software development requirements of varying complexity;
- Collect, process, analyze and interpret large volumes of data;
- Analyze and develop solutions for sensor networks;
- Analyze and understand the impact of technological solutions on individuals, organizations, and society;
- Coordinate and manage IT projects;
- Understand the technological potential of the Internet of Things and translate it into innovation within organizations.
