International Master In Fintech, Finance and Digital Innovation

Our International Master in Fintech, Finance and Digital Innovation is a 12-month Master's programme offered by POLIMI Graduate School of Management.

Programme Structure

The programme will start in October and be divided as follows:

Pillar 1: General Courses

Get a strong basis in finance, computer programming and quantitative finance.

Pillar 2: Methods and Technology for Fintech

Discover the technologies of digital innovation that play a preeminent role in Fintech.

Pillar 3: Fintech Applications

Enter into the Fintech domain by analysing how it can transform classic intermediation and how it can disintermediate traditional players from a peer-to-peer perspective.

Throughout your Master's, you will be able to access a range of services offered by the Politecnico di Milano Digital Innovation Observatories that aim to provide students and companies with an expert point of view on digital innovation through research, communication and continuous updating activities. Moreover, you will also be able to access a language platform to improve your knowledge of the Italian language, which is essential for your learning and training process.

At the end of your Master’s, if eligible, you will be granted a:

• Master’s Diploma from POLIMI Graduate School of Management
• 1st level University Specialising in Master degree from Politecnico di Milano

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Want to specialize in the Fintech area and deepen your knowledge of digital technologies and their application in the financial world
• Wish to develop and advance your Finance career, employing digital technologies in traditional or startup environments.
• Show well-developed analytical and business skills.
• Have less than 3 years of experience.
• Hold a 3-year bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering, or scientific studies (minimum 180 ECTS).

Please note that we’ve designed this programme for recent graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. If you have more experience, you might also like to take a look at our International MBA programmes.

Our International Master in Fintech, Finance, and Digital Innovation trains you to be able to understand and manage digital transformation, building on different skills and capabilities such as knowledge of the financial system and financial intermediation, information technology skills as well as quantitative methods applied to finance.

Develop your knowledge

Our Master's is taught by the Faculties of both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Management Engineering of Politecnico di Milano which will help you develop both your knowledge of the financial world and your ability to build an innovative business model from scratch.

With a hands-on approach, it will give you the chance to explore information technology skills (big data management, cybersecurity blockchain technology, and smart contracts), but also incorporate new technologies into traditional business activities.

International study tour in Europe

You will be able to attend front-of-class teaching sessions on systemic risk and network analysis and seminars/sessions with fintech experts and startups.

Career day

You will be able to take part in a dedicated Career Day for the International Master in Fintech that will allow you to get in direct contact with companies connected to the Master and be able to attend guest lectures that have the main goal of expanding your knowledge and your network.
