Introduction

We believe that management is very much a human enterprise, an art as well as a science, which integrates perspectives from the social and behavioral sciences, from philosophy and the humanities, from history and technology, and from religion and mathematics.

It is our intention that our graduates develop an unsurpassed understanding of management-related topics. The Executive MBA program provides the full range of core management disciplines expected in a traditional MBA program. We build on that core by providing courses focused on leadership and strategy, with an emphasis on ethics, the dignity of human interaction, and an increased opportunity for self-expression.

The idea of self-expression, specifically the interaction among fellow executives, is one of the distinctions of the Executive Management Program. Graduates of the program feel this interaction has greatly heightened their understanding of the complex issues of the world today. It has also fostered new insights by applying management concepts across different industries and organizational backgrounds.

Executives can shape the program to suit their demanding schedules. Classes are offered on weekends, on weeknights, and in intensive formats. Executive Management Program students can decide which courses to take when; core classes can be mixed with advanced offerings. What's more, the Drucker School offers both certificates and degrees in an effort to meet the needs of each student.

Who Should Apply?

The Drucker School seeks, as candidates, motivated professionals committed to learning and preparing for future advancement. Students come from a wide range of industries, governmental agencies, and nonprofit organizations. Many are individual practitioners, in fields such as medicine or law, who are looking to enhance their managerial skills.

The common thread among our students is that they are working professionals in key managerial and decision-making roles. Our program is flexible, accommodating work and personal schedules.
