Introduction
OSU's Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering (MEngEE) is a non-thesis degree program tailored to students who wish to gain advanced knowledge and expertise in subject areas associated with their professional pursuits.
Admissions
Scholarships and Funding
Almost all doctoral students are supported by a graduate teaching or research assistantships which come with a tuition waiver and a minimum stipend of $2,300 per month. Many Masters students also receive graduate teaching or research assistantships. Students are responsible for university and college fees. If a non-resident student enrolls in 20 credit hours in a year, they will be responsible for approximately $6,800 in fees. Additional scholarships are also available in the college and individual schools.
Curriculum
The MEngEE is a professional degree offered under the OSU Graduate College Professional Path (Plan II). It is intended for students who wish to enrich their professional qualifications for an advanced engineering career in the workforce.

ECE Graduate Programs
ECE graduate degree programs are offered at the masters and doctorate level. Specific degrees in electrical engineering include the Master of Science, Master of Engineering, and Doctor of Philosophy. The School also offers an accelerated "4+1" Option that combines the BSEE/BSCpE baccalaureate degrees with the Master of Engineering degree.
Major areas of emphasis in both course offerings and research include communications, speech and image processing, laser applications, computer systems, digital and analog VLSI design, electronics, control theory, real-time system control, renewable energy systems, electric power, economics, microwave remote sensing, expert system development, and parallel processing.
