Master in Bioinformatics

To develop in students the ability to formulate interdisciplinary approaches to the study, analysis, and modeling of biological phenomena through creative solutions to problems in the different areas of Bioinformatics.

The graduate will have the ability to get involved in interdisciplinary research teams in Life Sciences. You will be able to use and develop bioinformatics tools to identify, organize and analyze data obtained from high-throughput experiments aimed at solving problems in life sciences. It will have the conceptual bases necessary to formulate computational approximations to diverse biological phenomena and provide knowledge and innovative products to the Colombian scientific community.
