Master Program of International Environmental Sustainable Development (IESD)

Environmental and energy issues are important parts of many challenging global problems. Being part of the NCU Green Initiatives, International Environmental Sustainable Development (IESD) Program is an interdepartmental program involving four departments and institutes in the College of Engineering and the Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research. The College of Engineering has own ample resources for teaching and research capability in energy, infrastructure, and environmental fields, and with the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) technology supported by the Center for Space and Remote Sensing Research, we seek for more practical and effective solutions to energy and environmental problems nowadays and to make the globe a better and sustainable living environment for all human beings.

Requirements for Graduation

Required credits: 32 credits (including 8 credits for required courses & 24 credits for elective).

Duration of Study: 2-4 years.

Other requirements: Pass the oral defense of the thesis.
