Looking for your law degree specialization? Do you feel motivated to work for big business or in an international scene? Are you looking for a challenging internship to start your career in business law?
If any of the above questions came down to a positive answer, consider your master's degree in European and International Business Law. It is a challenging 2-year degree, with a reward of a double diploma from our joint studies partner in UniversitéSavoie-Mont-Blanc, France.
Start your first year of study in Vilnius, where you will lay the foundation for your knowledge of European and international business law. You will cover the topics on international tax, banking, insolvency, company, labor, competition, industrial property laws at European and international levels, as well as international commercial litigation. You will also go through language study of French – the common international legal language.
Study at UniversitéSavoie-Mont-Blanc in Chambéry, France. Continue your law studies in English, while deepening your knowledge on various topics of contract law, delve into issues of business law, economic integration of the European Union, and so much more. You will continue your French language lessons as well. You will also have a chance at an internship in international law firms and companies. At the end of your Master's thesis, you will have become a true, experienced master of law at an international level.
To take full advantage of this program, you will be required to know English at the B2 level.
During 2 years in Europe, you will receive your double master’s degree in the field of law. After completing your degree, you will be able to workin the private and public sectors, in academic and research institutions, commercial litigation bodies, and other organizations.

State scholarships for full-time master degree studies
Each year, the Education Exchanges Support Foundation opens applications for Lithuanian state scholarships for international full-time Master’s degree students accepted at Lithuanian higher education institutions.
The scholarship includes a monthly stipend and a grant covering study costs.

- Knowledge and its application
- Ability to analyze and explain the transnational and European business environment characteristics, the forms of business organization, particularity of their legal regulation and procedures, peculiarities of dispute resolution, specific features of transnational and European regulation of labor relations, business contracts and other particular branches of business law;
- Ability to critically analyze, interpret, compare, and assess the legislation for transnational and European business legal relations, to provide creative suggestions for the improvement of this legislation to ameliorate the business environment.
- Research skills
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the data necessary for scientific research of business legal environment and innovation in this field, to integrate the knowledge of business law, to apply scientific knowledge methodology, to clearly and unambiguously formulate logical conclusions based on business law knowledge, focusing on professional development and improvement and to convey these findings to both specialist and non-specialist audiences in a native and foreign language.
- Special Abilities
- Ability to advise on issues related to establishment, management, performance, and termination of activities of European and international companies, to deal with a wide range of legal problems, including extremely complex, when there is incomplete or limited information, to provide suggestions that would enable the reduction of the rise of problems detected as well as interests alignment and satisfaction of the individual business participants;
- Ability to draft, analyze, and assess European and international business contracts professionally;
- Ability to provide representation and dispute resolution legal services in multicultural transnational and European business environments professionally both in a team and independently.

Career Opportunities
Graduates of the European and International Business Law programme will be able to work in the private sector (law firms, business consulting companies, various international companies and national organizations having business interests abroad, banks and other financial institutions, insurance companies, notaries’ offices, etc.), as well as in public sector (national, European and international institutions promoting business growth, business supervising and monitoring agencies), in academic and research institutions in which graduates will be able to deepen their knowledge in the field of international and European business law and continue their research and give lectures (for example, in Lithuanian and foreign universities, institutes, research centers), also in commercial litigation bodies (institutions of pre-trial dispute settlement, tribunals, courts of arbitration) and other organizations (such as associations promoting and defending interests and rights of consumers and employees). In addition, diploma holders will be able to work as independent consultants or set up their own companies providing legal business consulting services. Excellent possibilities for graduates’ career and employment can be demonstrated by the fact that the joint master's program will be carried out in the universities of two different countries and this will allow students to gain more diverse and versatile experience, get more knowledge and skills, improve professional foreign language skills, gain international work experience and develop the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
