Introduction
Candidates will delve into the full spectrum of early childhood education from birth through age eight (grade 3), and the programs within that range-infant and toddler, preschool and daycare, kindergarten and primary education programs. They will learn how to create positive learning environments to enhance student motivation and creativity. Candidates will develop pedagogical approaches that take into account learner commonalities and differences to design goal-oriented instruction and assessment based on cognitive, social, affective and psycho-motor factors.
