Master of Arts in Community Counseling

The 48-hour curriculum satisfies the educational requirements for licensure in Missouri and various other states. An additional 12 credit hours are available for students who plan to reside in a state requiring a 60-hour program. The MACC program features small class sizes and individualized attention.

Clinical courses are taught by licensed professionals who are currently practicing and provide the students with real-world experience.

Evening courses accommodate the needs of adult learners. In addition, the MACC program is a hybrid program where “face to face” classes alternate weekly with online classes. Full-time students can complete the MACC program in two years.

Practicum and internship opportunities include partnerships with local community mental health providers, creating wonderful clinical training opportunities that mirror the career choices students can later pursue.
