The program has been developed to allow you to choose a specialization, giving you the choice to focus on your areas of interest. You'll learn to master mathematical methods and applications in statistics, information technology, computer science, energy technology, robotics, and financial mathematics.

This 2-year MSc mathematics degree will consist of:

Year 1

  • Mathematics/Applied Mathematics:
  • Applied Mathematics, 7.5 credits
  • Applied Matrix Analysis, 7.5 credits
  • Mathematics of Internet, 7.5 credits
  • Wavelets, 7.5 credits

Year 2

  • Mathematics/Applied Mathematics:
  • Applied Algebraic Structures, 7.5 credits
  • Quantum Computing and Information, 7.5 credits
  • Project in Mathematics II, 7.5 credits
  • Degree Project in Mathematics, 30 credits

You'll also choose from a variety of electives related to applied mathematics, analysis, simulation, differential equations, and automation and theory of computation. Studies will center around problem-solving lessons and seminars. The seminars are prepared by the students in groups and are presented to the class. This approach will help strengthen your critical thinking, inter-cultural communication, and presentation abilities.
