Introduction
Global crises and digital transformation have challenged businesses all over the world and created a need for professionals with unique multidisciplinary skills, adaptability, open-mindedness, and the ability to manage business innovatively, digitally, and sustainably.
In this program, you will develop your competencies in business decision-making for innovation and logistics, creative and innovative thinking, and collaboration and networking skills. These are what you need to succeed globally and to execute any digital transformations and sustainability strategies in organizations with an entrepreneurial mindset.
The program employs experiential learning and integrates the best theoretical academic approaches to teaching with real business assignments provided by global and local industrial companies. In your studies, you will combine business, industrial management, and engineering and will apply your knowledge directly to corporate challenges.
In this unique Master's program, you will gain a solid background in logistics and innovation management, quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, practical problem-solving techniques, and the ability to identify and solve complex challenges in today's networked business world.
The program suits both Bachelor's graduates and people with work experience. The program applies contact teaching. Core and advanced courses will be organized as intensive teaching, individual work, seminars, and case studies, but minor studies will follow LUT's university regular teaching schedule.

Scholarships and Funding
Early Bird discount / First academic year
When required to pay a tuition fee, you are offered
- an Early Bird Discount of EUR 6 000
for the first academic year if confirming your place and paying the rest of the tuition fee of EUR 7 500 within 21 days from the date of having received your Certificate of Admission.
Early Bird discount is available in both Regular Admission and Early Admission.
LUT Scholarship / Second academic year
When required to pay a tuition fee, you are offered
- LUT Scholarship of EUR 6 000
for the second academic year if having completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits of studies included in the personal study plan during the first academic year.
With LUT Scholarship the tuition fee is EUR 7 500 for the second academic year.
The required ECTS credits will be automatically checked for and they must be included on your Transcript of Records by the end of the first academic year i.e. by 31 July.
Curriculum
The Master's Program in Innovation and Logistics takes two years and leads to the degree of Master of Science in Technology, M.Sc. (Tech.), which is 120 ECTS credits.
The program includes core, advanced specialization, minor and elective studies as well as a Master's thesis.
The program includes compulsory studies in both innovation and logistics, but during specialization studies, students can choose more advanced courses to get a deeper knowledge of one of the disciplines.
Core studies, 25 ECTS credits
Include studies on innovation management, logistics and supply management, and strategic entrepreneurship in the age of uncertainty.
Advanced specialization studies, 41 ECTS credits
Include blocks of trends in innovation and technology management, transportation systems, and open and collaborative innovation.
Minor studies, 24 ECTS credits
Can be selected from other LUT programs in technology, e.g. software engineering, biobased chemical engineering, advanced water technology, or from business programs.
Elective studies
You can select any course at LUT.
Master's thesis, 30 ECTS credits
An advanced research project during the program's fourth semester. The Master's thesis requires approximately six months of full-time work and includes a thesis seminar.

The program prepares students for leading management and business development positions, especially in innovation, logistics, supply chain management, and digital business.
You will have a solid theoretical foundation, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, practical problem-solving techniques, and the ability to identify, assess and solve complex challenges in today's networked business world.
During your studies, you will get:
