Introduction
Communication plays a key role in the sustainable renewal of businesses and societies globally. AI, geopolitics, and strategic narratives are at the heart of the contemporary global communications landscape and impact the new communicative solutions for challenges related to clean air, water, and energy.
The scarcity of these life-giving resources creates conflicts and crises. By engaging in continuous dialogue and drawing on cutting-edge research, organizations, communities, and societies can build common understanding and orient their activities towards more sustainable ways of operating.
Communication is the key to creating new social innovations, driving sustainability transitions, and enhancing social inclusion. Hence, effective and responsible communication is essential for successful change and cooperation between different actors in societies globally.
Advancements in AI and digital media are rapidly shaping the dynamics of social interaction, power, and influence. The global communication environment is increasingly complex, highlighting the importance of competent communicators who understand the logic of global hybrid media landscapes.
In this program, you will acquire the skills needed for the critical analysis, assessment, and detection of disinformation and strategic narratives that shape the global and local perspectives on sustainability and the green transition.
