In its 40-year history, the Los Leones Professional Institute has been characterized by its firm commitment to Chilean Education, which has been reflected in its more than 21,000 professional and technical graduates.
Since its inception in 1981 under the name of Institute, this educational and social project set itself the challenge of delivering quality Higher Education. After a decade of institutional growth, it was in 1992 when it changed its current name to Los Leones Professional Institute.
An important award for his excellence was obtained in 2004, when the Ministry of Education granted him Full Autonomy, through Exempt Resolution No. 15.103.
One of the great advances in terms of quality of its educational project occurred in 2007, when it underwent for the first time an institutional accreditation process, obtaining 3 years in the areas of Institutional Management and Teaching Leading to Title for the period 2007 - 2010.
In 2010 and 2014, the IPLL renews its academic quality by obtaining again the accreditation for 4 and 2 years respectively, which shows its commitment to improving its educational project. Currently, our institution is accredited for 3 years, from April 2020 to April 2023, in the areas of Institutional Management and Undergraduate Teaching.
Today the IPLL teaches more than 30 degrees at its headquarters in Santiago and Viña del Mar, providing professionals who contribute to the development of the country.
