About

The Master of Science in Information Systems focuses on the integration of technology, people, and strategy. It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to develop and manage sophisticated information systems, as well as managing the people and processes involved in systems development. At the heart of the degree is the integration of technology into the business process. The knowledge and skills you will acquire in this program will open career options in a wide range of fields and locations.

The program gives students the fundamental knowledge and skills that are required at the project management level within the enterprise, including the technical foundations of information systems and the skills required to manage resources and to lead people. Throughout the program, courses are taught in a way that will enable you to learn to integrate all components of information system technology (hardware and software), people and business strategy into an efficient and effective resource that helps an organization fulfil its unique mission within the economy and society.

The program is well-suited to those who want to change careers and/or gain marketable skills in a world that is becoming increasingly more reliant on the computerized collection, processing, distribution and accessibility of information.
