In 1966, at the University of Medellín, a strike arose generated by administrative outrages and by the low prevailing academic level. The epicenter was located in the Faculty of Law, whose dean was Dr. Federico Estrada Vélez. The Latin American Autonomous Region is, therefore, the fruit of the most heartfelt demands of the Antioquia student and teacher movement and clearly shows that in the concern of a thriving race like ours, the joint efforts not only generate capital goods but also strength. intellectual with a view to a future richer injustice and culture.
