KU Leuven's Master of International Business Economics and Management (Brussels) is a master's program for holders of a degree in a non-business economic or management discipline that prepares for a career in international business through the acquisition of business economic insights, knowledge, and management skills.
The curriculum adopts a practical and business-oriented perspective, but still provides a thorough treatment, based in science, of major international business economics and management issues.
If you have direct access, you can follow the one-year Master’s program. If you do not have direct access, you must first follow the 27 credits preparatory program from September till January and start the Master’s program in February.
Strengths
- Business-oriented: The strongly business-oriented program gives you the opportunity to interface with the business world. You will be able to follow training sessions, visit companies and attend guest lectures by prominent business leaders (e.g. from the European Commission, PwC, Cargill, Ericsson, UPS, FIT, KBC, BRUcargo, etc.)
- International focus: You will develop intercultural management and negotiation skills that will prepare you for the global job market. You have the possibility to do a double degree program with Toulouse School of Management.
- Accessible with a non-business degree: The program offers holders of a degree in a non-business economic discipline a thorough study of the generic business domains in an international context.
