The Department of Plant Growing and Plant Protection prepares masters in the direction of Agronomy.

The purpose of the department is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of technology for the cultivation of crops and the production of environmentally friendly crop products, who, following fundamental and special training, will be able to perform the following types of professional activities:

to carry out production and management at enterprises for the production of agricultural products, as well as at an enterprise with a complete production cycle and a distribution network;

engage in experimental research work.
