Overview
The master study program Public policy and security is designed to broaden your perspective and sharpen specific skills to prepare you to be a professional leader in the public sector. The program will inspire and prepare you to be a competent actor in public policy and security processes and make evidence-based decisions. The aim of the study program is to prepare professionals of high competence having profound knowledge in public governance and policy theories, able to analyze and evaluate security processes from a comparative perspective, to design and implement relevant analyses applying sophisticated methodological approaches that form the background for problem-solving recommendations.

- Planning, management, and coordination of general operation of the company, institution, or organization;
- Monitoring and assessment of organization’s performance according to the set objectives and policies;
- Insurance of preparation and implementation of appropriate systems and procedures for budget control;
- Organization’s representation on official occasions and at the meetings of the board, negotiations, events, seminars, public deliberations of projects, and forums.
Policy and planning manager
- Preparation, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans, programs, policy, processes, systems, and procedures for implementation of tasks, objectives, and operational standards;
- Preparation, administration, supervision of and participation in scientific research and analysis of policy;
- Coordination of implementation of policies and practices.
Manager of a special-purpose organization or its division
- Establishment, preparation, and management of the implementation of policies of the organizations of political parties, trade unions, employee organizations, trade, and industry associations, humanitarian aid or charity organizations or sports associations, and representation of these organizations acting on their behalf;
- Establishment and preparation of the organization’s policies, rules, and regulations;
- Planning, coordination, and management of the organization’s general operations.
Public policy and administration specialist
- Maintenance of communication with administrators of public programs and other interested parties, consultations for establishment of policy needs;
- Provision and analysis of possibilities of political choices, preparation of information documents and recommendations for changes of policies, consultations on prioritized choices;
- Performance of threat and risk assessment and their management.
