Introduction
The Advanced Master's program Project Management in Circular Economy is a degree accredited by the Conférence des grandes écoles (CGE).
The aim of this Advanced Master's in Project Management in Circular Economy is to train professionals capable of identifying a circular economy process that is relevant, profitable and adapted to the realities of the company; capable of designing and ensuring the complete engineering of this project and of steering the industrial circular economy process and making it evolve towards its greatest efficiency.
Objectives
The job of a Project Manager in Circular Economy consists of combining ecological analysis with knowledge of circular economy transformation technologies and the company's industrial context. It implies a capacity for industrial design and development, marketing analysis of recycled products and their economic control.
The business nature of these projects also implies a mastery of management at the organizational level.
What is an Advanced Master's?
An Advanced Master's degree or Mastère Spécialisé has a bac +6 level in France and it's the next level after a master's degree. It is a degree highly appreciated by French companies. In order to apply, students must have done at least 5 years of higher education (a master's degree), but exemptions are possible for people with several years of professional experience.
This Advanced Master's will allow you to acquire specialized and cross-disciplinary skills in one year by alternating between school/projects or assignments in companies.
Curriculum
Organization of studies
The training can be done under student status or under a professionalization contract*. It takes place from October to September with:
- A seven-month teaching period alternating 2 weeks at the school and 2 weeks in a company
- A five-month phase of full-time activity in the company, which leads to the completion of a professional thesis
*The professionalization contract is accessible to non-European foreigners who have completed one year of studies in France and hold a "student" residence permit. The student should be maximum 25 years old when signing the contract.
