Introduction
With an International Management Master, you work specifically on your previous business knowledge and qualify for a leading position in the business. In addition to the business content, you will also choose your own individual focus.
International Management Theory & Practice are closely interlinked. The integrated practical phases offer you extensive opportunities to gain your own practical experience and prove yourself in various areas.
The Master in International Management program includes a semester abroad at one of around 190 partner universities abroad. By studying abroad, you will get cutting-edge international and inter-cultural business education:
- get expertise in international business tactics and economics,
- intensify your intercultural management skills and
- possibly even obtain a second international post-graduate degree (double degree in International Management) from one of our participating partner universities.
Since the masters of management is taught entirely in English language, you will be well prepared for negotiations and cross-cultural cooperation projects after completing your studies.
This program is offered at all seven ISM campuses in English.
Getting a double degree from two prestigious universities
While pursuing your Management Master's at ISM you have the additional option to earn an international double degree from at ISM and a partner university. This means that in addition to your master's degree at ISM, you will receive a second, internationally recognized master's degree. In some cases, this is even possible during the integrated semester abroad, but depends on the partner university chosen. This way, you can get two master's degrees in two or two and a half years and make a decisive step for your future career. In addition, you will expand your personal network with international students and lecturers and strengthen your language and intercultural skills.
Fast track your studies in just 3 semesters
With the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master's degree in only 3 semesters. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master).

Program delivery
Studying at an international level
During the first two semesters of studying at ISM, you will deepen your already acquired business administration knowledge and learn how to convince the client of your strategy proposals with your competencies in consulting projects. In order to sharpen your profile, you can choose your own major in International Controlling, International Operations or Digital Marketing.
You will spend the third semester at one of our numerous partner universities abroad.
You will then write your practice-oriented Master's thesis in the fourth semester. This means that you will receive your degree with 120 ECTS already in the fourth semester.
